Celebrity Homes… We love them! Today I bring you a look inside Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s breathtaking vintage mansion in the exclusive region of Montecito, California, known for some of the most expensive homes in the world.
Saladino Villa, as it is known, was originally constructed in 1928 by renowned architect Wallace Frost. The gorgeous estate was recently updated by interior designer John Saladino, in 2009, adding modern amenities, to the kitchen for example, and an extra touch of style.
The luxury house is 10,522 square feet and sits on a whopping 13 acres of some of the most scenic and pricey coastal luxury real estate in California. It features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and nine fireplaces and boasts ocean views from most places in the house and property when facing South, including the pool.
The outdoor living area is phenomenal and trully inspiring, with enchanting rustic sceneries. There is intricate and lush landscaping on the ocean side of the property. Even the pool has a breathtaking ocean view. A special highlight on the orchard on the mountain side of the 13 acres estate, which is very relaxing for a stroll and something unique.
This is the latest piece of property to be purchased by the Hollywood couple, who own numerous other properties in Southern California, from houses in Beverly Hills to a ranch estate in Malibu’s exclusive Hidden Valley. They acquired the mansion for a staggering $26.5 million.
