It doesn’t matter how engaging a movie plot is… sometimes our attention is also driven to architectural settings that have the ability to catch our eye for their greatness and beauty. Though Martin Scorcese’s “Wolf of Wall Street ” is a great movie and Leonardo Dicaprio’s performance as the leading actor is dazzling – he seems to be getting better and better with time, if that is even possible – the Penthouse featured on the Hollywood blockbuster is definitly worth The Most Expensive Home‘s attention.
This house played a central role in the movie, which is based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government.
Although the film is set in the 1990’s, the 2,500 square feet luxury penthouse has a timeless character. With sleek finishes and appliances, the three-bedroom, three-bath home has floor-to-ceiling windows. Its bathrooms include teak and limestone vanities, and the master bath has a steam shower and soaking tub.
The apartment is located in a luxury condo building in New York City which has served as scenery to other hit productions: “Gossip Girl” filmed scenes in the lobby as did “The Good Wife” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
The “Wolf of Wall Street” penthouse is on the market for $6.495 million.
