Three designers were invited by Bvlgari to give their take on three of their existing codes, Monete, Serpenti and Bvlgari Bvlgari. They visit the brand atelier in Florence, Italy and worked directly with the craftsmen to create 3D prototypes of their designs. It was a 6 week project and both the designers and Bvlgari were happy with the result of this collaboration.
The result turned out to be quite spectacular and as the prototypes will continue to be made, one of the designs will be used for the celebrations for the Bvlgari Bvlgari code 40 year anniversary.
Designers like Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo and others re-invent cinderela shoes in anticipation of Disney’s live action Cinderella flick, the company has roped in some of the biggest names in fashion to create their own high end takes on those iconic glass slippers. Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, René Caovilla, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Charlotte Olympia, Jerome C. Rousseau, and Stuart Weitzman are the nine designers who will lend their considerable skills to the project.
They will materials such as PVC, Plexiglas and Swarovski crystals to come out witht their own and fantastic fantasy shoe. This Cinderela inspired shoe will be available in some selected stores like Harrods and Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and Beverly Hills, Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Excelsior Milano, Tsum in Moscow, Isetan in Tokyo, Level Shoe District in Dubai.

Also in March, Saks Fifth Avenue will have a cinderella themed store with scenes from the movie, costumes and of course the footwear collection. Is the best way to make real this fairytale, right?
