The Targaryens have been fan favourites since the beginning. We first met them through the iconic dragon queen, mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, and followed her journey for eight seasons. In this new series, we get to meet her ancestors in a time when dragons ruled the seven kingdoms and graced the skies. Since the Targaryens are the ones sitting on the Iron Throne, we selected the new Gladia Armchair for them. A powerful upholstery item that brings the ultimate comfort to any living area through timeless and distinctive lines.

The mighty lions of house Lannister were masters at playing the game. They gave us iconic lines and scenes that led to major events throughout the series that made us cry with sadness and anger, but also had us gasping! Remember when Cersei blew the Sept of Baelor? Well, we probably won’t be seeing any familiar faces in House Of The Dragon, but the Lannisters will be there for sure! To match the regal and power of this house, there’s no better decor piece than the Empire Chandelier, a masterpiece with an extravagant shape, capable of transforming every space into a stunning scenario.
House Of The Dragon will also introduce new families to those who haven’t read the books yet. House Velaryon of Driftmark is a house with the blood of old Valyria, just like the Targaryens. Known for their traditional seafarer’s lifestyle, they have always been supporters of the Dragons and have many family ties with them. Owners of one of the most powerful navies in the seven kingdoms, they are richer than the Lannisters but don’t show it as much. We selected for them the beautiful Linckia Drawer Handle from PullCast’s Ocean Collection. It is a cabinet hardware piece inspired by the sea and the beauty of deep waters.

The Hightowers are another family that will be introduced in House Of The Dragon. Lords of the Hightower, located in Oldtown, they are one of the wealthiest families of The Reach. Their sigil is a stone white watchtower, with a fire on the top and their motto is “We Light the Way“. With this information in mind, we selected for them the Pharo Floor lamp, inspired by the Pharos Lighthouse. Designed in a simple and robust style and made of brass and crystal, this crystal floor lamp takes both the architecture and the symbolism of lighthouses into account and is able to light up any space as a beacon.
Another fan favourite, the Starks were probably the ones who made us suffer the most. One of the oldest and most loyal houses in Westeros, they usually stay in the North because Stark men don’t fare well when they travel south. They are worshipers of the Old Gods whose symbol is the Weirwood Tree that we see in Winterfell. For that reason, we selected the Flow Door Pull from PullCast’s Earth Collection. Possessing a natural and invigorating way of movement, Flow mid-size door pull presents an organic shape decoding sophistication and personality.
“Growing Strong” are the words from house Tyrell and, in fact, they did grow in our hearts throughout the years. We don’t know if we will see them again in House Of The Dragon, but they gave us one of the greatest characters of all time in the shape of the Queen Of Thorns, Olenna Tyrell, so we had to include them on our list. For a house with such a romantic and elegant aesthetic, we were forced to select an item from the McQueen Collection. The McQueen II Wall Mirror embodies the essence of the Tyrells with its powerful evocation of the sublime.
