Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, purchased this 1979 contemporary-style home in Malibu after listing their former Malibu estate. Located on a verdant area, the house offers a beautiful view of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
The interiors have tall glass doors and windows and high ceilings, providing a front-row view of the beautiful surroundings. With ample spaces, they have a minimalist aesthetic that mixes elements reminiscing of a more beachy style, such as wood applicances. It also includes sporadic pops of colour, mainly blue.
The house has an area of 4,610 square-foot that includes four bedrooms, four baths, a home theater, and a 750-bottle wine storage. The entryway also offers a sitting area that connects to the kitchen.
The kitchen has a retractable wall that allows the indoors to connect with the terrace area. Built around a light brown and white colour scheme, this room offers restaurant-grade appliances and a dining area perfect to enjoy breakfast time!

The main living room mixes natural elements with fine materials such as leather and brass. With a colour palette that follows the same aesthetic as the rest of the house, it creates a cosy ambience to gather the family.
The primary bedroom has that summery vibe that is so much associated with California. We point out the big mirror standing against the wall and the crystal table lamp as the statement pieces of this room.
The main bathroom includes a bathtub and an isolated shower. The marble floors give the space a fresh and refined look. Hanging above the bathtub is a globe-shaped suspension, an element that adds dynamic to the room.
