The movie star Julia Roberts put her Big Apple penthouse for sale on the open market with an asking price of $4.5 million. The property purchased the approximately 2,000-square-foot co-operative in what appears to have been an off-market deal over the summer of 2010 for $3,845,000.
This is not the first or only New York City apartment owned by the Malibu-based couple, Julia Roberts her husband, Emmy nominated camera operator/cinematographer Danny Moder. Way back in 2005, they sold a large apartment in an elegant lower Fifth Avenue building for $4.1 million to fellow Oscar winner Holly Hunter.
However, The Most Expensive Homes provides a sneak peek and images from Penthouse Pied-a-Terre, at Manhattan, and shows the U-shaped, two-unit combination, atop an 11-story full service, post-war building in the heart of Greenwich Village, is currently configured with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
