Kendall wanted a house with a serene vibe where she could relax, a place that would contrast with the constant chaos of her daily life. What most attracted her to this house was the hybridized, pan-Mediterranean architecture that proliferates in Los Angeles. The wood stools and brass utensils were a perfect addition to make the kitchen match with the aesthetic the owner wanted for the house and the final touch came in the form of the lighting fixtures.

At first, the designing team wasn’t sure about adding such pieces of nostalgia, fearing that it would result in a gauche combination . Notwithstanding, in the end it all came together perfectly.
A golden brass bathtub works as the center piece for the bathroom. While it still embodies the farmhouse aesthetic, it surely gives the room a regal touch along with the carpet, making the perfect combination to uplift the space.
A swimming pool integrates the outdoor area, where a terrace can be found too. This area distances itself from the modern farmhouse aesthetic and leans more into the Mediterranean and Spanish styles.
