The architect Mario Cucinella and Gianni Caimi, CEO of Caimi Brevetti, Daniele Lago, CEO and Head of Design at Lago, Tiziana Monterisi, CEO & Co-Founder of Ricehouse, and Andrea Tagliabue, Vice President of Tabu were among the speakers at the Intesa Sanpaolo talk Sustainability and Circularity in the Home Sector, moderated by Anna Roscio, Head of Business Sales & Marketing at Intesa San. A discussion of what it means to combine sustainability and circularity in architecture, furnishing, and the home sector, as well as what ensuring sustainable supply chains, materials, and products entails in terms of corporate production system evolution, held at the Arena of Pavillon 15 at 10:30. After that, the Intesa Sanpaolo Research Department gave a presentation on the macroeconomic and furnishing sector scenarios.

Yves Béhar, a Swiss designer and entrepreneur, will be featured in a series of meetings organised by SaloneSatellite creator and curator Marva Griffin Wilshire. While we all wish to make the world a better place, Béhar sees it as a mission, a cause to live and work. As a result, his work is strongly related to SaloneSatellite‘s theme of Designing For Our Future Selves/Progettare per I Nostri Domani. In this talk that happened at 11:30 at the Arena of Pavillon 3, the designer explained how to adapt and improve lifestyles, lives, and individual and community behaviours in order to reach a new sustainable equilibrium through his efforts and his most recent book.

The SaloneSatelllite Awards happened at 3pm at the Pavillon 3 Arena. Back for the 11st editon, its jury was chaired by Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator, Architecture & Design Director, Research and Development, MoMA. The award was presented to the top three concepts submitted by the designers, which were then displayed in a single, collective exhibition that served as a guide to traversing their personal environments.
For Sustainability: Three Different Episodes, Maria Cristina Didero, independent design curator and author, and Curatorial Director of Design Miami/ 2022, invited Victoria Siddall, a non-executive Director of Frieze, Chair of the Trustees of Studio Voltaire, and a founding member and trustee of the Gallery Climate Coalition, to illustrate the work of the Gallery Climate Coalition, which aims to identify and address climate change. Daan Roosegaarde, a creative thinker, artist, innovator, and developer of social projects exploring the relationship between people, technology, and space, spoke about technological innovation and art, with the goal of speeding up the spread of social projects that will help save the planet and improve urban life. Eva Feldkamp, founder and director of All in Awe, discussed how to generate creative opportunities with positive social and environmental impact, based on her belief that the world is in desperate need of change. Her mission is to design a system that will connect creative sector colleagues with charities, non-profit organizations, and the public sector.
