Mastering The Coastal Aesthetic

White and Blue

This living room is decorated in the most common colour palette when it comes to coastal style. Blue and white are the most common tones to use if you want to decorate with this aesthetic. Create a cozy but stylish room by mixing soft materials with details in brass such as a center table or a lighthouse-inspired wall lamp.

Under The Sea

We are in love with this beautiful bathroom. The colour choice and the tiles create the relaxing ambiance that is required for a room like this, and the rattan chair and basket add colour and contrasting textures to it. The final touch comes in the shape of a round pendant with starfish accents.

Deep Waters

Don’t be afraid to opt for a darker shade of blue reminiscent of the deep waters. It will help you bring sophistication and modernity into your room. Take this kitchen as an example: the contrasting colours create dynamic and depth and match perfectly with the coastal-inspired elements such as the buoy ball pendants.

A Seafarer’s Room

This kids’ room is obviously decorated with beach-themed touches. There are numerous lovely references to the ocean throughout the room, from the wallpaper to the pillows. The lighting fixtures have contrasting styles, but they blend together beautifully! The crystal chandelier adds a sense of elegance to this room, as does the cute table lamp covered in seashells.

Paneling and exposed beams go hand in hand with the coastal aesthetic. They are a great way to apply this style to your home even if you want to keep things toned down and take a more minimalistic approach to decor.

Hymn To The Sea

Another example of how you don’t need too much to transform an interior into a coastal destination. Chose a beautiful suspension to hang above your dining table like a true fishing float and pair it with ocean imagery!

  • Right by the entrance, three uniquely shaped designs, the Algerone console, the Shard table lamp, and the decorative Lumiere round mirror by Boca do Lobo lead the way to the rest of the house. The lounge area continues the distinctive appeal by highlighting the Senzu sofa, a neutral upholstered design with a rounder form and an additional support table.

  • Unveiled as a superb master suite, this utterly modern bedroom is comprised of a series of luxurious and custom-made elements. At the bedroom’s entrance, one spots a sophisticated trinity of designs in the Charla dresser, the Darian Gold mirror, and the Waterfall II wall lamp, all of which contribute to the sublimity of this space. Moving on, however, the “matriarch of the bunch” easily becomes the Charla bed, which showcases LUXXU’s impeccable craftsmanship techniques.
  • This living room is perhaps best described by its high ceilings and modern decorations. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light to come in. The Otto sofa, with its stronger tones and slightly curved form, becomes a stellar piece for one to relax and gather with friends, alongside the Gladia armchairs.
