Khushalani Associates, one of the most promising interior design studios in India, recently presented to the world one of their latest and creative design projects! To create an interior design project doesn’t always merely come to the point of merging modern design concepts together and creating an exquisite yet out of the box aesthetic. Sometimes, reminiscing about the client’s roots truly enhances the entire ambiance and does it all, and this Contemporary House that we are about to welcome you inside has it all – a tranquil aesthetic with familiar vibes, meet The House With Poise – Indore by Khushalani Associates.
This 28,000 private residence designed by Khushalani Associates is located in Bicholi, an upcoming exurb of Indore (akin to what the Hamptons are to New York). By virtue of being a business leader in his industry, the client is a globe trotter, albeit with strong Indian values. The challenge was to cater to his Indian sensitivities, more specifically, towards Vaastu compliance, while keeping his Ecumenical tastes in mind. The result is a Contemporary House with strong Indian roots, instagrammable interior design ideas yet livable, with functionality and aesthetics maintaining a fine balancing act.

For this luxury home, the architecture firm designed that wood would be the basic inspiration for the entire project. Due to the earthy tones introduced into this Contemporary House, it was logical that furniture design pieces in the same palette would be the perfect fit. Boca do Lobo‘s Infinity Console Table was the perfect match when the firm was looking for that statement piece that would give a striking effect when entering this incredible abode.
A standout statement piece of this house is located in the lobby and it’s the incredible Infinity Console by Boca do Lobo. This luxury brand’s furniture exhales style, grace and luxury and this is certainly the case for the Infinity console, a fascinating and exclusive piece, proven to be impressive and eye-catching through its sinuous and elegant lines. Infinity holds a shimmering aura that gets a classy touch to any living space. Stunning in either modern or classic entrance halls and a great addition to any living room decoration. Handcrafted by our talented craftsmen, this prodigious piece has a striking geometric mosaic wood veneer top and a copper leaf base finished with high gloss varnish.
Infinity Console By Boca Do Lobo
The architecture of the house was devised in such a way that it is adequate light for the areas; in a house that has wall to wall, full-height windows it becomes essential to control sunlight in a way that it is welcome and not something one struggles to shun.
“The South And West Facades Are More Closed Out Housing Services Like The Lift & Staircase Block And Store And Non-Habitable Spaces Like The Kitchen, Pantry, And Bathrooms. Any Rooms Facing South And West Had Large Overhanging Decks And Cavity Walls. Terracing Towards The North And The East To Create A Comfortable Environment For The Infinity Pool And Semi-Formal Seating Areas Around It.” states the architecture firm in charge of this contemporary home.
In one of the living rooms of this amazing mansion, we highlight the presence of a bespoke version of the powerful Botti Modern Chandelier by DelightFULL that instantly takes us into a music concert starring Chris Botti. The mid-century lighting design was inspired by the American trumpet player as a tribute to jazz music. With a structure handmade in brass and boasting a sophisticated gold-plated finish, this modern ceiling light showcases the high-quality craftsmanship for which DelightFULL is best known for. The brass chandelier goes as tall as 31,5 inches and uses 24 E27 bulbs, which are ingeniously placed at the end of the shades. Its unique shape and design make it the perfect hanging lamp to display on a mid-century modern living room, or a sophisticated hotel lobby.
