Meet this Alabama Mansion Inspired by Versailles

The Most Expensive Homes‘ Team is pleased to present you the “Guitar House”, so named for its sprawling guitar-shaped driveway, is the largest estate in Alabama. According to DeCaro Luxury Auctions, which is selling the property (without reserve) at an auction on October 31, the 15-bedroom mansion, set on 27 acres in Birmingham, has a private horse riding arena and access to private pastures and riding trails in the Appalachian Mountains.

Inspired by historic French and Italian castles of Europe, the house was built by European artisans who took residence in the home to handcraft the stucco, marble, limestone and decorative features.

Excellent replication of former era, of oppression of “Europe” paradox Alabama not cosmopolitan state distaste freedom of arts and civil liberties. Criticism why the interest to emulate lost era of “Europe” I’ll say, interiors embellished not flimsy great detail only problem southern traditions. Which anti external estate size reminds of Maryland,Texas or South Carolina ill fated due association lack of culture “Alabama devoid of innovate arts as “Empire State” trying fit in. Only built market where could be flip higher price as “Florida disdain not insane of Alabama where detest “LGBTQ” rights. Estate beautiful sell lower price with such investment due connotation of old traditions of glory “Alabama!
