It’s in East Hampton that’s located one of the most expensive mansions in this area, the Shepard Krech House, built in 1931, and renovated in 1990, by Peter Marino. This 140 million property has more than 1000 feet long, and it sits near the Georgica Pond.
Inside the property, the Shepard Krech House has over 10,000-square-feet, with a design focus on tray ceiling with hand stenciling, and broad porches on exterior of the house, overviewing the pond.
Defining itself for the breathtaking view and the massive 1930’s influence it has throughout the mansion, Shepard Krech House also contains four fireplaces, a massive library, an exercise room and ten bedrooms.
There are still four bedrooms available at the 3,500-square-foot guest house, that was also designed by Peter Marino. Besides being a guest house, it contains its own kitchen, living room and driveway entrance.
On the outside area there’s an extraordinary 60-foot pool, complemented with a bathtub, which is makes this house even more perfect, since every space has its own special details, along with the amazing and peaceful view it offers.
