“I always said I didn’t want everything pink just because I was having a girl,” says CaCee Cobb, longtime BFF of Jessica Simpson. CaCee welcomed a daughter, Wilder, in April, with her husband, actor Donald Faison. (Brother, Rocco, is 2.) With the help of celebrity nursery designer Vanessa Antonelli, Cobb started with a blue mattress, but the decor did get more feminine from there—with a whimsical hanging branch and vintage-feeling wallpaper. “Of course, now that Wilder is here,” Cobb says, “all I do is dress her in pink!”
The structure is situated on the James Hyatt Studio–designed grounds behind Kardashian’s residence in Calabasas, California. It’s more modern than the Poosh founder’s Italian-influenced home—but there’s a freshness to it that enhances the sprawling estate. (Plus, it was fashioned from ipe wood to match the pergolas.) “Everything that I looked at was a more modern, simple, sophisticated design,” says Kardashian. “I think this is modern, but I think it’s still cozy.”
