This Patricia Herrera Lansing’s Little Italy loft is subtlety placed behind a graffiti brick exterior building, that was completely designed by creative mastermind, Patrick McGrath. Patricia and her husband have been living in this loft for a long time, building a large family throughout the years, and establishing their personal roots for decades.
Patricia Lansing’s first renovation was in collaboration with architect David Bae, before coming to work with designer Patrick McGrath. Patricia met Patrick and, stunned by his work, invited him to transform her home. The concept was to rearrange their current design, while renovating it, joining a new energy and designer’s identity to this legendary loft.
Patricia Lansing demonstrated her art background, to help the designer on the refurnishing of her Little Italy loft. The designer’s goal was to create a comfortable yet luxurious family room, so the massive living room was divided into four areas, full of luxury and antique furniture. It became the perfect place to entertain guests, with an incredible touch of sophistication.
The library stands as a special room in this loft, because it was transformed into a dining room, which also features the purpose to function as a study for Patricia and her children. As far as the bedrooms go, they’re on the top floor, and the master bedroom contains a reupholstered sofa and chairs and a Louis Philippe mirror.
